Subaru yesterday extended its lead at the top of the 2020 GT Sport FIA Manufacturer points table to eight points after round 11 of the series.
At the end of stage one – which finished with round ten – the Japanese manufacturer held a healthy advantage but that has now doubled after the Brands Hatch GR3 race.
World champion Mikail Hizal (TRL_Lightning/MH16) did not take part in the round but leading North America driver Danny Solis (PX7-Lamb) grabbed a load of points while Takuma Miyazono (Kerokkuma_ej20) won in the Asia region.
Mercedes retained second place with a win from Cody Latkovski (Nik_Makozi) in Oceania and a modest, by his standards, performance from Baptiste Beauvois (Wong_Baguette_F1).
Citroen jumped up the rankings to fifth courtesy of a win from BFR_DevilSoul in EMEA while North America points leader Andrew Brookes (PX7-Deafsun) also grabbed a haul.
