GTSRacer.com IGTL World Series bosses have confirmed the GR3 line-up for the championship which begins in six weeks’ time where a prize pool of £500 is up for grabs.
After six special events, 12 drivers will slot into the grid for a four-round series which begins at Monza on July 23.
Each Friday race will have the GT3 and an invitational GT4 event on the day before.
The calendar looks like this:
Round | Date | Track |
One | July 23 | Monza |
Two | August 13 | Yamagiwa/Miyabi |
Three | August 28 | St Croix B |
Four | September 10 | Dragon Trail Seaside |
There is a limited choice of cars for both series. Each car is limited to three on the grid. In the GT3 Championship, the drivers who finished first in a Special Event will all pick before those who were second, in the order of Special Events one through six.
For example, the second place finisher in Special Event Three will pick ninth, the winner of Special Event Two would pick second, and so on…
For the GT4 Invitational, selection order will be determined by the organisers. No BoP values will be revealed at the time of car selection, so drivers will be selecting on preference alone.
